Our Mission and History
Specialty Insurance Marketing Services, LLC (SIMS) was formed for the primary purpose of becoming a marketing company and / or “agency” specializing in sports insurance products. Our goal was to create a Youth Insurance Product offering protection against the loss of their Scholarship, often resulting in their inability to afford to pay for a continuing education, or worse, taking on debt.
The end result of this development process, resulted in an improved product offering Accident Disability Protection available to any youth aged 6-21 years old and renewable to age 26. ScholarGuard™ is now available for purchase in eight states, with more being added rapidly as we go through each state's individual application process. We hope to offer ScholarGuard™ to all youth across the United States.
Our Founders
Specialty Insurance Marketing Services was formed in 2019 by top medical, business, agricultural, sports, and professional leaders across the United States. The founding members of SIMS have a vision for providing the youth in their respective communities and across the nation with opportunities to further their education regardless of the unforeseen circumstances that debilitating accidents or injuries may cause. The mission of SIMS is to protect our most valuable resource – Our Children.

Having more than 40 years of insurance industry experience, believes because of his extensive experience and observations that youth, middle school, and into college (and /or their parents, grandparents) may be interested in purchasing insurance to “insure” the continuing education / college costs, (e.g., room, board and tuition), in the event of a disabling accidental injury altering the youth's ability to pursue their dream, activity and even that education being paid for via a Scholarship for their given talents.
